With anxiety, stress and depression being the principal causes of absenteeism and presenteeism,
the number of days taken off is reportedly increasing 25% year-on-year.
Good mental health in the workforce is considered ‘very important’† to employers.
Partnering with a charity that supports those struggling at work and those ready for employment,
demonstrates your commitment to good mental health in the workplace.
By supporting innercycle, you could fulfil your own organisation's social responsibility aims, whilst enhancing staff morale and retention.
We will work with you to ensure that your brand and team gain from partnering, with benefits for everyone.

Charity of the year:
Many businesses now choose one main charity to support over a specific period, usually one to two years. It’s a great way of encouraging team building and having fun.
Support can range from participating in open charity events like cycle rides and marathons, to running cake sales at work and hosting fundraising functions.
We welcome the opportunity of discussing a programme with you that would meet your specific needs and objectives.
Making us your Charity of the Year could help:
- Show your organisation’s commitment to fostering positive mental health in the workplace and openness to discussing it
- Encourage team spirit and boost staff morale
- Educate workers in the proven positive mental and physical health benefits of cycling
- Create positive news stories for regional and national PR exposure and social media content
Get active and take on a challenge: There are countless UK-wide events where your staff may enter individually or as a team. Cycling, trekking, swimming and running, as well as hardy 'Tough Mudder' courses, even skydiving for the fearless!
Inspired Get-Togethers: We've kindly been given access to a villa near Malaga in Spain, that can be rented for 10 people at £2100/week. It's the perfect restful environment for a team-building course, a centre for enhancing wellness or perhaps a 'thank you' reward for your best performing staff members See more>
Gift Aid: Innercycle is registered with both the Charity Commission and, to process Gift Aid donations, also with HMRC. Companies and individuals can make monetary donations. The requirement is for a declaration to be made so that the charity has their permission to claim back 25p for each £1 donated. The donor must have paid at least as much in Income Tax or CGT. Payroll giving is another option, although such payments are ineligible under the Gift Aid Scheme.
Custom: Your organisation could get creative with your own challenge, if options listed here aren't quite hitting the spot. Events at home or overseas – running a company ‘bake-off’ or a dance competition – let's work together on ideas, to find the ideal fit! Get in touch>

Many staff members, particularly 'millennials', are receptive to charitable giving. Increasingly, people want to work for organisations that give something back, paying more than lip service to making a difference in the world.

To support an individual through our vocational programmes with therapeutic sessions and fully resourced individual cycle plans requires continuing long-term investment.
On average, our service-users could become independently self-reliant within six-to-nine months.
Philanthropic gifts and legacy donations allow us to help sustain recovery whilst people are in work, over twelve months and beyond, where necessary, minimising risk of relapse.
