Andrew Croft – Partnership Development [secondment]

Andrew has spent more than thirty years working in advertising and marketing communications with a career that has included experience with major international networks, specialist agencies and successful start-ups.

Andrew specialises in developing integrated programmes, delivering campaigns across a number of communications disciplines. Brand development and strategy has been a particular area of focus.

During a ten-year stint with the Saatchi & Saatchi group, he set up two successful subsidiary agencies. Andrew went on to work in technology marketing, subsequently creating an innovation-marketing consultancy, FK3, working in the cycling industry for brands including Giant, Endura Cycle Clothing and Zipp.

Together with Roy Brooks, Andrew co-founded the ground breaking ideation co-operative, Gildedsplinters in 2016. A unique network of forty-two senior practitioners drawn from a wide range of disciplines including advertising, marketing, architecture, product design and PR, Gildedsplinters is neither an agency nor a consultancy.  The network provides a platform for coming up with the most powerful problem-solving tools there are – ideas. Lateral, radical ideas that are practical and implementable, unconstrained by being invested in any discipline, other than thinking.

A keen cyclist, Andrew rides with Rye Wheelers CC – one of the oldest cycling clubs in the country. He competes in the full range of time trials from 10 miles to 24 hours and was a member of Rye’s Kent BAR winning team. He’s also ridden some of the biggest cyclo-sportives including L’Etape du Tour, Ronde van Vlanderen and Maratona di Dolomiti. Bitten by the track cycling bug, Andrew is working towards gaining Track Accreditation.

Andrew was on secondment to innercycle, initially providing consultancy to help refine our cycle-side strategy and to form partnerships with cycle industry specialists and brands.
